  • HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO GET AN EAR PIERCING?
    You can get your ear pierced for 120 DKK / 198 SEK per piercing, including an earring.

  • WHERE CAN YOU GET YOUR EAR PIERCED?
    You can get your ears pierced in all our Pilgrim shops in Denmark and Sweden.*

    *Does not apply to Magasin Fields, Magasin Rødovre and Åhléns.

    It’s a drop-in service, meaning that you do not have to book an appointment in advance. However, our staff can ask you to return later in extra busy periods.

  • WHICH PART OF THE EAR CAN YOU GET PIERCED?
    In Denmark, you can get piercings in the entire earlobe and in the cartilage along the outer edge of the ear. In Sweden, we only offer piercings in the earlobe.

    HOW MANY PIERCINGS CAN YOU GET AT ONCE?
    In Denmark you can get a maximum of one cartilage piercing and two earlobe piercings at a time – per ear. In Sweden, it’s two earlobe piercings at a time per ear – no cartilage piercings.

  • HOW OLD DO YOU HAVE TO BE TO GET YOUR EARS PIERCED?
    In Denmark, you must be at least 6 years old. If you're under 18, you'll need a physical signature or verbal consent from a parent or guardian – given via phone call made in-store.

    In Sweden, the minimum age is higher: you must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you must have parental permission, either in person or via phone call to the store.

  • WHICH EARRINGS ARE USED FOR PIERCINGS?
    We have a selection of earrings specifically for the purpose, packed in sterile packages to avoid infection.

  • • The ear studs that are pierced in the ear are made of surgical steel.

    • The ear studs are sterilely packed, used shortly after opening the package, and then discarded.

    • The ear and the piercing gun are sanitized before the piercing is made.

    • Staff will also sanitize their hands before touching the piercing gun and the ear.

  • • Avoid fiddling with the earpiece.

    • Look at the ear stud daily and preferably clean daily with chlorhexidine or salt water.

    • Be patient with the healing time - some need more time than the recommended time (6 to 12 weeks).

    • A piercing can always grow together, even some time after the healing period. To avoid this, you can benefit from always wearing an earring and never having an empty piercing.

    • Should any problems arise with your new piercing, contact the Pilgrim store that made it - they will be able to advise and guide you here.
